About Vidle Pay
Vidle Pay is a focused Stripe payment control layer.
It centralizes the billing responsibilities that benefit from one carefully operated system while keeping product and seller responsibility visible.
Why it exists
Correct payment state should not depend on browser code.
Vidle Pay owns trusted app-scoped EUR catalog prices, idempotent orders, Stripe Checkout creation, webhook verification, subscription synchronization, refunds, disputes, and signed entitlement callbacks for approved products.
The pool is intentionally narrow. Stripe provides the payment interface and processes payment for the configured Mindepy seller. Vidle Pay never collects card numbers or CVC values, never treats a browser success screen as proof of payment, and never switches a failed attempt to another seller.
This separation gives customers a consistent checkout while keeping the legal seller, support path, refund owner, dispute owner, and invoice responsibility clear.
Verified event state
Only signed Stripe events and idempotent server processing change payment or access state.
Dedicated merchant boundary
Checkout, webhooks, refunds, Portal, and reconciliation use only the Mindepy Stripe account.
Design principles
Share infrastructure, isolate applications.
Production uses one Cloudflare Worker, one isolated Neon schema, one restricted runtime role, and one Stripe Queue pipeline. Each approved product has a unique App ID, verified origin, catalog, credential, and callback secret.
PayPal is not active. The pool remains Stripe-only unless a separate implementation, credential boundary, webhook contract, Queue path, and complete sandbox acceptance are reviewed later.
Customer promise
A checkout should explain what happens next.
Customers can see what they are buying, who supports it, and when confirmation is pending. Delayed confirmation is shown as pending instead of being misreported as success or failure.

Frequently asked questions
Who can integrate with Vidle Pay?
Approved products that belong to the Mindepy legal-seller and EUR settlement boundary can register as isolated Apps. The pay.vidle.org hostname does not automatically register vidle.org or any other product.
Is Vidle Pay a merchant of record?
No. Vidle Pay is a software control layer. Mindepy remains the configured seller for Stripe transactions and owns the commercial responsibilities disclosed at purchase.
